Olive grove

Monochromatic photographs
Venturing through Olive groves, feeling like a juvenile compared to these mature deep-rooted trees, I feel a sense of strength in them. Their thick, infinitely snarled trunk, down to the roots conceals endurance of time salvaged by a close relationship with man. Despite having their limbs lopped off after the severe frost in 1956, the shoots spring back to life. The attraction of each one showcases a unique identity I tried to capture with a focus on its character.
